Principal Investigator (PI): Ratul Kr. Baruah
Dr. Baruah holds a Professorship at the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Tezpur University, Assam, India. He completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, from January 2012 to March 2015. Had a short visit to Professor Michael Schroeter's lab, who is a pioneer in Bipolar junction Technology at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany & THM, Germany, during May-July, 2017. He has postdoctoral experience at Professor Alam's CEED GROUP, known globally at the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA, during Aug. 2018-August. 2019. In 2024, he visited TU Dresden, Germany, for 3 months with a DFG fellowship. He works on semiconductor devices, Biosensors, and Flexible Electronics, etc.
Perspective students: Looking for bright, motivated B.Tech/M.tech (ECE)/M.Sc (Electronics/Physics with Electronics) students to join my group for Ph.D. in the areas of Semiconductor Devices/circuits/Biosensors/Flexible Electronics etc. Interested students are advised to send an email at ratulkr@tezu.ernet.in with an intended research proposal.

Albert did his B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication engineering from Dept. of ECE, TU in 2016 and 2019 respectively. He joined Ph.D at Dept of ECE, TU with UGC JRF (Electronic science) fellowship in 2020. His area of research are Semiconductor Devices and embedded systems.

Kakali Roy
Kakali completed her B.Tech degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engg. from GIMT Guwahati in 2017, and M.Tech degree in Instrumentation from NIT Silchar in 2019. She joined for the Ph.D. degree at Dept of ECE, TU in 2023. Her area of interest is Bioelectronic Devices.

Abhijit did his BTech in Electrical Engineering and MTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Tezpur University in 2021 and 2023 respectively. He joined for PhD at dept. of ECE, TU in 2023
under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme - Phase 2. His area of interest is Organic Transistor.

Rajen Abhijit did his BTech in Electronics Engineering from JIST in 2021 and MTech in ELDT from Tezpur
University in 2024 respectively. He joined for PhD at dept. of ECE, TU in 2024 with AICTE Doctoral

Ananya completed her B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Assam University and Tezpur University in 2016 and 2019 respectively. She cleared UGC-NET in Electronic Science in 2019. She joined Ph.D. at Dept of ECE, TU with AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) in 2020. Her area of research is Flexible electronics.
